Hello, everyone! It’s Roslyn Saunders, your recovery coach, and I’m coming to you live from the beautiful Gold Coast near Brisbane, Australia. As you can see, the background is adorned with stunning yachts and the beauty of this place never fails to mesmerize me.
Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of community, having fun, and connecting with like-minded individuals who share similar interests. I am here at a gathering of the Dr. Joe Dispenza group. Back in 2018, I attended a fabulous day retreat hosted by Dr. Joe Dispenza, a remarkable individual with a global movement focused on transformative healing. If you haven’t heard of him, I highly recommend checking him out.
Every couple of months, we come together as a group here on the Gold Coast to participate in four meditation sessions—two in the morning and two in the afternoon. We are a community of around 40 to 50 people, and the sense of togetherness is truly uplifting. The meditations are powerful, and the camaraderie we share adds to the experience.
I find tremendous value in this community aspect. As someone who primarily works from home, these gatherings get me out of the house and provide a refreshing change of environment. Additionally, I want to highlight another crucial point: sometimes, when we embark on a recovery journey, our friends and family may not share the same level of enthusiasm for the things we are exploring. That’s when finding a community like this becomes even more significant—a tribe that resonates with our interests and goals.
The power of community is undeniable. It’s essential to seek out groups that align with your passions and interests. Whether through Facebook, online platforms, or local gatherings, there are countless ways to connect with like-minded individuals. Don’t feel alone in your journey; embrace the support and strength that community can provide.
So, I’m truly grateful to be here today, experiencing the beauty of the Gold Coast and sharing this uplifting environment with my fellow practitioners. I encourage you to find your tribe, surround yourself with those who inspire you, and engage in activities that resonate with your heart.
Thank you for tuning in, and I hope you can also find the joy and power of community in your own life. Wishing you all the best on your recovery journey!
